We’ll send you some brief paperwork you may complete before your first visit. Alternatively, you are welcome to come in a few minutes early to complete the forms in our office. Please wear comfortable, loose or athletic clothing that’s easy to move in.
Your First Visit
When you arrive for your first appointment, expect to spend about 45 minutes to 1 hour with us.
You’ll sit down and talk with Dr. Stinson so he can learn more about your health history and what’s brought you in for care today. He will take surface EMG and nervous system scans to help us identify areas of stress in your spine. We also take digital X-rays as needed.
We’ll answer all of your questions, and if you’re in pain, we’ll give you instructions for at-home care—we typically will not adjust on the first visit, as we want to have adequate time to review your case to make the best possible recommendations.
Before you leave, we’ll schedule your next visit as soon as possible—hopefully the next day!
Your Second Appointment
At your second visit, we’ll review our findings report, letting you know where interference is occurring in your nervous system and explaining the root cause of your problem—our ultimate goal is to correct the underlying issue, not just your surface symptoms.
Dr. Stinson will offer his best recommendations for your needs. Your customized care plan is based on two things: Number one is your goals, and number two is our clinical findings.
We’ll also explain all costs involved and payment options. We are in-network with Blue Cross and we are a Medicare provider. We also accept ChiroHealthUSA® as well as HSAs and FSAs.
